Areas of Practice

I offer all prospective clients a free 30-minute consultation to discuss their issue without any obligation to engage my services on the matter.  For returning clients, I credit the first 15 minutes of my time as a free initial consultation.  If a client elects to retain my services, I provide them with an engagement letter outlining the scope of my representation, fee arrangement and billing methods, and other terms governing the relationship. 

I generally bill my services using an hourly rate, except for certain projects such as entity formation and estate planning, for which I use a multi-tiered flat-fee billing structure.  Because I understand that seeking legal services is often a stressful and intimidating process, my goal is to put clients at ease from the first phone call by clearly communicating expectations and the standard terms by which I provide legal services.  In so doing, I hope to make what is often a tenuous and unpleasant season of people’s lives significantly more comfortable and assured.
